Some centuries ago, ceilings were painted for the Eternity. Nowadays, grounds are sketched for a few hours and euros.  (click on picture to enlarge)

    Excellent, I met this guy last Saturday in Nantes! He was drawing a clown on the Place Royale. Here is a picture shot with my Leica M8 & a Summilux 50mm :
