A couple kiss on the Pont des Artistes over the Seine River. Maybe will they also add a padlock as symbol of an eternal love pledge. Yet at the same moment on the opposide side of the bridge, a man was busy removing one of the locks in front of a captivated audience. Like an expert thief, he was listening to the lock mechanism in the hope to find the opening combination. A disappointed lover trying to undo a former pledge and start over a new life ? Yanidel, this is such a spectacular group of photos! I love the one of the couple in love even on its own but when you put it together with the « sad » picture, you really have a story there – absolutely stunning! I want to say « so Parisian » – like in the movies – it is not just about the pretty story but about the sadness that comes with it. Konstantin
Seeing these in large really makes a huge difference. Framing and tones are wonderful. It would neat to see how you process the images as a workflow or tutorial.
I agree these are well composed. You caught some great moment there in both picture. Great eye you have.
Lovely photos. Paris is for sure one of the most romantic cities around – probably the most romantic one.
It’s nice to know that I was born there… not living there now but at least I got some good taste:).
Yanidel, you started walking with 2 cameras now?
Konstantin, all love story have some sadness into it I guess, right ? ;)
Dan, always one camera only, but I’ll be without the M9 for a few days because of a shutter problem to be fixed. I guess that is what happen when one shoots high speed too often …
