Imagine you head to Le pont des Arts for a cigarette over the Seine River. I bet it will take around two minutes before the afternoon walk lovers surround you. (click on picture to enlarge)

a super shot and your descriptions really add the the power of the photo.
Did the people know that you had taken this, if you brought the camera to your eye, or did you take the picture away from your face? Most of your photo’s are taken from a nice distance but people seem unaware of you.
I think you are doing a better job than the French Tourist Office, particularly your « Where to Shoot in Paris? » series. How I wish I could be there. May be 2012.
To answer Lucy, I stopped in front of them looking opposite way at the river for a little while. Then I turned around quickly, focused and shot. They still saw me but did not have time to adapt their behaviour.
That picture almost perfectly sums up my experience when I stayed in Paris in early 20s single life. By the end of my visit was ready to grab the next Parisian man I saw to kiss just to join in with my surroundings. Wonderful moment you’ve recorded!
Bien vu !
This photo is one of your best! Great story and a theme.
Beautiful. Great expressions, great color,…

Once again a beautiful photo, Yanik.

Thank you all.
