I despise my neighbour !

At first, I thought he was moving. But tonight I realized he was hosting the Yves Saint Laurent fashion week show. Here they were, the world’s most beautiful girls just across the street and … I wasn’t invited. (long sigh).        (click on picture to enlarge)

We had in Madrid last week Mario Testino’s photo exhibition premiere at Thyssen museum. My wife attended as Vanity Fair organized this event. 800 hundred people, hundreds of looong legs (top models) and many many different people.

Your M9 would love to walk around a party like that Yanick!

That’s a nice view to have in front of your house …even if you’re not invited…

Do you think the night shot would be better with a smaller aperture and a longer exposure?

  3. Joerg dit :

The lensflares look like UFOs. Very nice.

¿How did you get those green circles? I guess is by the lens, right? That photo is magic and lights gives funny mistery to the place.

    Dan and Valery,

I did try smaller apertures but the lights were very strong and pointed straight to the buidling. No way to avoid the flare (which came from the lens). This being said, I though it added to the fantasy of a fashion show. Indeed like UFO as Joerg mentionned

The shape of those flares is really magic, they gave amazing touch to the photo. Thanks for the information.
