It is always a special event in Paris when the Christmas lights are turned on the trees of Les Champs-Elysées. Braving the bad weather, a man takes his son out for a walk on the enlightened Avenue. (click on picture to enlarge)

Hi, I recently started following your blog. Congratulations for the photos and the texts. It’s a very interesting diary. I’m curious about the way your camera renders de reds. Do the photos come out like that or do you color correct them?
Best regards.
Luis
Let me just add that I love the colours. The yellows and greens remind me of Kodak film which I love.
Beautiful composition, I like the shot very much.
Take care
Loulou
Maybe we walked around on the Champs-Elysées at the same time that evening^_^.
I come here to see ur blog frequently even before I got to Paris. I’m always afraid of shooting outside alone …Admiring you~~
These photos and your words are warm and funny. love them all~~
Wonderfully evocative seasonal picture – there are no signs of Christmas here and it’s still 80 degrees
Yanidel,
Great shot, I have a huge weakness for rain photography, the wet street and everything is so full of reflections.
Well done sir.
a big and a small.
the small boy is lovely ,I think the man is like a child too.
Very nice indeed!!! I am now convince that the M9 with the 35 Lux can shoot at high ISO :-))) . Keep up the good work!!! Your blog is very motivating.
