OOOHH… I love Paul and I love this photo. The lady has such elan!
Did you know that the only Paul restaurants/boulangerie in North America are in Florida, in and around Miami? It’s true. There are two alone in the Aventura Mall.
I ate there and it was as good as the one I ate at in Paris (Pain c’est magniifque ), but it was a lot warmer on the terrace…..
The chef de cuisine was authentically French as well. When we walked in he was verbally abusing a busboy, but then turned on the charm when he saw us.
Jason, I had no idea it existed in the States, good for you there !!
There are actually a lot way better bakeries in Paris, Paul is a bit too much of a chain sometimes. Croissants are ok but some of their bread is really good !
I imagine the butter croissants must last a second before they melt in the hot Florida weather ;)
As for chef, indeed, authentic French !
Here in Barcelona were opened two Pauls near Passeig de Gracia and they are always full.

Love it, it could be only in Paris!
