Paris by bike

In the middle of the crowd in Le Marais or crossing over the Pont des Arts bridge, riding a bike in Paris is the best. (click on pictures to enlarge)

  1. I prefer these Cron/Lux shots over the Hexanon shots. So much less distraction in the oof areas and sharper details.

    hi Mikael,

At close distances, I agree with you, the Hexanon’s bokeh is not the best. Yet at mid too long distances, the Hexanon is very smooth too in OOF. As for details, the Hexanon is probably one of the very best lens you can find. Sharpness is stunning, even at F1.4, yet it is difficult to see it on a web image.

Hi Yanidel … I love your street shots with the M9. Lovely.
One quick question, how did you manage to focus so quickly with the M9 for the first photo above? I assume the woman on the bike was moving.

    Great photos.

    Hi Hendra, thanks.

I pre-focused on a set distance so I just had to click when she entered the zone.
    The bike was indeed moving.

    Cheers, Yanick
