Another great stuff. Blur works great on this one. Again, fine body of work Yanick, just my personal opinion, I would love to see more of your photos taken not nessesary wide open, as sometimes I am missing that third and forth background, where still something interesting is happening. I mean only on wider shots, as portraiture is perfectly focus separated (just my humble thought). Hope you won’t feel critisized, as I am always impressed by variety and skill of your body of work. Keep it up (and blog running).
Thanks Matt! I promess you that I try very hard to shoot at F8.0 but my finger automatically pulls the aperture ring back to F1.4 ;)
I agree that stopping down would work better on some shots, and I do use it every once in a while, but I mainly do not post these. The blur is kind of part of the mood of Paris, don’t you think so ?
