In front of this shooting stand at the Tuileries fair, I was stopped by this group of friends that asked me if I could take a picture of them. I gladly agreed and they took this band boys pause, probably getting ready to go “in the hunt” of some young women to seduce. (click on picture to enlarge)

Surprising view by the Canal Saint-Martin as these three men walked around a baby. It reminded me of a twenthiest century version of the famous French movie “Trois hommes et un couffin” (which later became the US blockbuster “Three men and a baby”). (click on picture to enlarge)

Ile des Cygnes (Swan’s Island) is a long strip of earth in the center of the Seine that starts at the Bir-Hakeim Bridge and ends at the Statue of Liberty. A great place for a walk or a chat enjoying the last rays of the sun. (click on picture to enlarge)

As high schools and universities around the world start to close their doors for the summer, students start to hit the road. One classic road trip is a tour of Europe with Paris being one of the obvious stops. So you will see numerous groups of friends heavily loaded with backpacks wandering around the city. This was certainly the case of this group of four friends whose hands very firmly clung to a metro post just like four lyal musketeers. (click on picture to enlarge)

I found this groupe of soldiers down les Champs-Elysées as they were walking with rythm and confidence. I am not sure why but this picture reminds me of the movie “Saving Private Ryan” where a squad goes to rescue the last son of a family as his three brothers were killed during the Normandy Invasion.
