In Paris, you can find many shops selling carpets that always seem to be on the brink of closing for renovation. It is a well known trick to make you believe that you will get a great deal. Obviously, this is not the case so watch out if you ever think of buying a carpet in Paris …

Painter’s autoportrait

Montmartre is of course known for its famous painters’ square on top of the hill. You will find many styles and many artists will be glad to draw your portrait. It did not seem to interest this painter, deeply absorbed in drawing its other self.
